ALSI/Merpro provides a rage of
hydrocyclones for oil/water separation and for liquid/solid
separation.
How they work:
Fluids are injected tangentially into the hydrocyclone to create high
initial velocity. In solid/liquid applications, heavy solids are
forced to the cyclone walls and exits through the central outlet at
the base under gravity, while liquid is drawn to the center and exits
through the top of the cyclone.
